Parent Involvement
Parents are encouraged to get involved, to ensure we can provide the best experience possible to our players, fans, and coaches. We ask that adults help with coaching, team and dugout management, field prep, umpiring, score keeping, special events, etc.
Schedule (tentative)
Regular season runs end April/begin May to end of June
Majors Evaluations late April
T-Ball – Monday and Wednesday (likely 6:00 to 7:00) at Lyn Ary Park; small group station training early in season and scrimmages later in season
Coach Pitch – Tuesday and Thursday games (likely 5:30 – 7:00 and 7:00 to 8:30) at Lyn Ary Park; practices at coaches' discretion
Minors – Monday and Wednesday games (6:30 to 8:30, warm up starts 5:45) at Lyn Ary Park with potential for interleague games at other little leagues; practices at coaches' discretion
Majors – Tuesday and Thursday games (6:30 to 8:30, warm up starts 5:45) at Lyn Ary Park with potential for interleague games at other little leagues; practices at coaches’ discretion
Intermediate/Seniors - exclusively interleague play so schedule is set by District 1; home games at Brotherhood Park
Eligibility
Players of all skill levels, ages 4-16, who live in or go to school in AWLL boundaries can play. No experience is necessary. Everyone will be placed on a team.

Use the
Little League Finder to confirm the player's appropriate league.
There are three options for where Little Leaguers can play.
- Children whose primary residence is within the local league’s boundary can play for that hometown league.
- Children can play for the league where their school is located. AWLL schools include Alaska Native Cultural Charter School, Aquarian Charter School, Central Middle School, Chugach Optional Elementary School, Denali Montessori Elementary, Government Hill Elementary School, Inlet View Elementary School, North Star Elementary School, Northwood Elementary School, Romig Middle School, Stellar Secondary School, West Anchorage High School, Willow Crest Elementary School. SportsConnect does not recognize Denali Montessori or Government Hill being within AWLL boundaries; please select another school to proceed with registration.
- Children from divided homes can play in the league where either parent resides; however, they may only play in one league.
League Age
Your player’s league age is determined by the Little League
Age Charts.
- Age Determination Date for a Baseball player is the actual age of a child on Aug. 31 of the current year.
Divisions
We offer several divisions during the regular Season. Differences include ages, pitching distances, base path length, coach vs. player pitching, etc.

Player Evaluations
Majors players participate in player evaluations. Players in these division must participate in evaluations each year. Player evaluation will occur in late April.
Opponents
During the regular spring season, our AWLL teams play against other AWLL teams in the same division and sometimes against other local little leagues.
Medical Release Form
Please be sure to complete the Medical Release Form at the time of registration. Or, if after registration, provide to your coach.
Registration Fees
Registration fees include the cost of uniforms (jersey and hat only). Registration fees help pay for field rental and maintenance, baseball equipment, safety equipment and education expenses, insurance, background checks and other fees.
T-Ball - $175 before March 8; $225 after March 8
Coach Pitch - $175 before March 8; $225 after March 8
Minors - $225 before March 8; $275 after March 8
Majors - $225 before March 8; $275 after March 8
Intermediate - $225 before March 8; $275 after March 8
Seniors - $225 before March 8; $275 after March 8
Discounts
For families, registration fees will be capped at $600.
Financial Aid & Scholarships
We offer scholarships and payment plans. To request Financial Aid, submit the Financial Aid Request Form to our [email protected].
Buddy Requests
At the time of registration, requests can be made for the player to be placed on the same team a sibling or buddy. AWLL will do its best to honor requests, but they are not guaranteed. To change your buddy requests after registration, email [email protected].
